Onboarding Consultant

Are you coming from a dealership background and ready for something different? Our client is looking for an experienced Onboarding Consultant to help dealerships successfully implement and adopt a market-leading automotive platform. If you’ve worked as a Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, Workshop Controller, Sales Executive, Business Manager, Sales Administrator, Accounts Assistant, or Aftersales Manager, this role lets you use your real dealership knowledge in a more strategic, consultative way.

Salary: £32,000 basic • £42,500 OTE

Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Location: Field-based across the UK & Europe

What you’ll be doing (and doing brilliantly)

  • Configuring and implementing the platform in new and existing dealerships
  • Tailoring system settings to align with dealership processes
  • Delivering clear, engaging training sessions to ensure confident system adoption
  • Leading implementations from planning through to go-live
  • Providing on-site and remote consultancy to support optimisation and best practice
  • Working closely with dealership stakeholders to understand requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience
  • Building deep knowledge of system functionality and integrations
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to help dealerships maximise performance and profitability

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience in Sales, Aftersales, or Accounts within a dealership (essential)
  • Strong understanding of vehicle administration, stock, costing, invoicing and registration
  • Hands-on experience with a Dealer Management System
  • Confident delivering training or coaching others
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Organised, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing projects and multiple stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and happy to travel as required
  • Full UK driving licence
