At tmGroup, we’re taking conveyancing into a brighter, smarter, and simpler future with our award-winning technology.

From instant quote tools and seamless onboarding to comprehensive searches and risk management, we use data, technology, and expertise to help our clients move forward with confidence.

We’re looking for a QA Analyst to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the platforms and applications that power our services. Working within a collaborative Agile team, you’ll play a key role in validating new features, identifying issues early, and ensuring every release meets the high standards our customers expect.

This role combines hands-on functional testing with opportunities to contribute to automation, regression coverage, and continuous improvement across the software delivery lifecycle. You’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, bringing a user-focused mindset and strong attention to detail to everything you test.

 What you’ll do

Functional Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Analyse requirements and user stories to design clear test scenarios and cases.
  • Execute functional testing across applications, logging and managing defects with clear, actionable detail.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help ensure releases meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Assess usability and user experience during testing, providing feedback to improve overall product quality.

API, Mobile & Regression Testing

  • Perform API testing to validate data integrity and integration points using tools such as Postman.
  • Test functionality across mobile devices, browsers, and operating systems to ensure consistency and usability.
  • Maintain and enhance regression test packs to ensure coverage across evolving functionality.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate suitable test scenarios and contribute to automated regression testing.
  • Support the development and maintenance of automation scripts using tools such as TestComplete.
  • Contribute ideas and improvements that help evolve QA processes and support continuous testing.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, refinement sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Provide updates on testing progress, risks, and blockers to support smooth delivery.

 About you

  • Experience working as a QA Analyst or Software Tester within a software development environment.
  • Good understanding of functional testing and the software development lifecycle.
  • Confident analysing requirements and translating them into structured test scenarios and cases.
  • Analytical thinker with a strong user mindset, able to think beyond the written requirements and consider how people will actually interact with the system.
  • Naturally curious and comfortable asking “what if?” questions to uncover edge cases and potential issues.
  • Comfortable working in Agile teams and collaborating with developers and product owners.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to ask questions, raise issues, and suggest improvements.

Desirable:

  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Exposure to automation tools such as TestComplete or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar test and issue management tools.
  • ISTQB or other testing certifications (beneficial but not essential).

What we offer

  • £33,000 - £36,000 + full benefits + bonus
  • Remote-first working with occasional travel to Swindon HQ
  • 25 days holiday (increasing with service) and holiday purchase scheme, private health (after qualifying period), pension, life assurance
  • Flexible benefits scheme covering financial, wellness, legal, and medical support
  • Rewards platform with a wide range of perks and options
  • Free parking on site with breakfast options and fresh fruit provided
  • A supportive QA team with a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture
  • Opportunity to help shape evolving QA practices as we modernise our technology and delivery approach
