Role: Python Developer

Salary: Up to £75k

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 Days On-Site)

We're hiring on behalf of one of the UK's most recognisable media brands - home to some of the biggest radio stations and streaming platforms in the country. Their engineering team is growing and they're looking for talented Python Developers to help shape the digital products millions of people use daily.

The Role

They have just started a brand new project which you'll be working on within an exciting part of the business. You'll be working across APIs, web services, and internal systems that power a high-traffic consumer platform at serious scale. Think clean code, collaborative teams, paired programming, hack time, and a genuine investment in making developers better at their craft.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong commercial Python development experience
• Experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks (Django, Flask)
• Experience with using Claude Code or Cursor
• Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake)

Nice to haves:

• Experience with asyncio or modern Python typing
• Exposure to AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with GraphQL or ElasticSearch/OpenSearch
