Location: London (Onsite - 5 days per week)

Salary: £200,000 + generous equity package

Interview Process: 2-4 stages

I'm hiring for two YC-backed startups building foundational AI infrastructure - one focused on advancing reasoning capabilities, the other on streamlining how teams deploy and monitor models in production.

What we're looking for:

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Founding engineer mindset with ownership mentality
• Series A-C scale-up experience (ideally in fast-growth environments)

Role 1: AI Engineer

• Expert-level Python with exposure to frontend technologies (TypeScript/React preferred)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks
• Ability to ship AI-powered features end-to-end
• Minimum 3 years of experience

Role 2: Applied AI Engineer

• Strong backend engineering experience (Python preferred)
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git workflows
• Experience building RAG pipelines and AI agent orchestration systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience
