A UK FinTech is hiring a Senior React Native Engineer on a contract basis to work on a production mobile application. You will be working with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript, delivering a UI focused, design system led mobile experience as part of a small, experienced product team.

This role sits alongside a wider platform programme and is focused on owning the mobile UI work for a co branded version of an existing app. The environment suits a senior contractor who is comfortable working autonomously while collaborating closely with product and design.

What you will be doing

• Building and enhancing a React Native mobile application in production

• Delivering a co branded UI aligned to external partner guidelines

• Working within a design system led setup with strong attention to visual quality

• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers

• Ensuring high quality, production ready UI

Key skills

• Strong commercial experience with React Native on production apps

• Expo experience, including Bare workflow

• TypeScript

• Experience working in UI heavy, design system led environments

Nice to have

• Localisation or multi language experience

• Exposure to FinTech or regulated environments
