About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll own the top of the funnel, driving new business opportunities with scaling UK-based consumer brands. This is not a volume-for-the-sake-of-it SDR role. You’ll be given autonomy, ownership, and the space to build a high-quality outbound motion, focused on meaningful conversations and commercial impact. You’ll work closely with senior commercial leaders, gaining exposure to modern GTM strategy, consultative selling, and market positioning from day one.

Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation

  • Identify and engage target accounts through multi-channel outbound (phone, email, LinkedIn, events)
  • Build and execute tailored outreach strategies that cut through the noise
  • Book high-quality discovery meetings with founders and senior operators

Discovery & Qualification

  • Run structured discovery conversations focused on operational challenges, growth constraints, and commercial priorities
  • Qualify opportunities effectively across key criteria (need, timing, stakeholder alignment)
  • Deliver strong handovers to Account Executives with clear context and next steps

Market & Commercial Insight

  • Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline visibility
  • Share market feedback with commercial and product teams to refine messaging and targeting
  • Represent the business professionally across events and external interactions

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years in a sales or business development role (B2B or SaaS preferred)
  • Evidence of consistent target achievement
  • Exposure to high-growth or fast-paced environments is advantageous

  • Proactive and outbound-driven with a strong sense of ownership
  • Clear, confident communicator who can engage senior stakeholders
  • Naturally consultative with strong listening and questioning skills
  • Commercially aware, able to link problems to real business outcomes

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: Up to £35,000base + uncapped OTE (c. £25,000+ Year 1)
