Senior Presales Engineer
Solutions Field CTO | Enterprise SaaS | London (Hybrid)
We are looking for a senior technical leader who is equally comfortable in a customer boardroom as they are shaping complex solutions.
This is a front-line, customer-facing role for a fast-growing SaaS platform in the accountancy space. You will be the senior technical authority in enterprise sales cycles, helping medium to large accountancy firms move away from fragmented legacy systems onto a single, fully cloud-based platform covering CRM, practice management, workflow, compliance and advisory.
What you will be doing
You will work alongside commercial leadership to win and shape complex enterprise deals. You will lead solution architecture, run platform demonstrations, present at industry events, and act as the bridge between customers and the product and engineering team.
This is not a behind the scenes role. You need to be comfortable presenting, influencing and closing with senior stakeholders including partners, directors and boards.
Who we are looking for
- Solutions Director, Principal Solutions Architect or Field CTO background in a SaaS business
- Experience in enterprise or upper mid-market sales environments
- Comfortable selling complex, business-critical platforms
- Experience in accountancy, tax or professional services software is a bonus but not a requirement
What this role is not
This is not suited to pure internal CTO or Head of Engineering profiles, or anyone who prefers to stay behind the scenes.
Location
London based, hybrid working. Some travel required including occasional trips to work with the offshore product and engineering team.
