IT Client Delivery Engineer (SC)
Our client are looking for a Client Services Engineer based at in Moor Row, West Cumbria on a permanent basis to join their growing support team.
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll provide deskside support for a wide range of IT incidents and service requests. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in keeping users productive by resolving hardware and software issues quickly and effectively.

Key responsibilities:- Providing deskside support for IT incidents and service requests
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Performing break-fix repairs and delivering quick, effective solutions
- Carrying out IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks
- Managing your own ticket queue to meet SLA and KPI targets
- Keeping ticket records accurate and up to date
- Communicating clearly with users, translating technical issues into simple terms
- Collaborating with wider IT teams and workflow managers
- Supporting ad hoc tasks and project work as required
- Ensuring compliance with security and health & safety policies
- Previous IT support experience (ideally 2+ years)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Experience diagnosing and repairing desktops and laptops
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience with Active Directory
- Basic server knowledge (smart hands support)
- Network troubleshooting or build experience
- Printer installation and configuration
- Familiarity with VPN and remote working technologies
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
