SC CLEARED IT ENGINEER

5 days on site in West Kilbride, Ayrshire

Provide IT hardware and software end user support.

Day to Day Duties

Re- imaging of laptop with a standard build

Provide assistance for new starters on their first day to make sure they can logon, access the applications and demonstrate how to use Teams

Provide a “Laptop Health Check” service where customers can schedule time to have their laptop checked to proactively avoid any issues

Provide printer support and advice ,Microsoft Suite and basic training to users

Integrating hardware replacement requests into the standard replacement process

Assisting with iPad use/issues

Windows 10 tablets support

Mobile phones: Demonstration of functionality of handset to the users

SharePoint Support

Video Conferencing (VC) and Meeting Room: basic support and room checks

Arranging special events, e.g. Board Meetings etc (off site support)

Providing remote support for tickets where users not at the base location

Skills and Experience

Customer liaison skills

Windows OS literate

knowledge of Server OS and navigation if needed as eyes and ears for smart hands calls

Experience with Active Directory

Basic hardware knowledge, Laptop Keyboards, Memory, Hard drives

Experience with network fault troubleshooting ,Network builds

Experience with network printer installs and configuration

Experience with Microsoft O365 ,VPN and remote work on machines ,Microsoft Office 365 and Azure administration
