Role and responsibilities:

2nd - 3rd line engineer with Fortinet, Netgear experience is ideal. Ruckus experience is preferred

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing , troubleshooting Fortinet and Netgear networking hardware and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Duties include (but not limited to)

• Provide hands-on 2nd and 3rd-line support across customer network environments.
• Support and administer NETGEAR switching and wireless infrastructure, including VLANs, trunking, PoE and access-point configuration.
• Investigate complex LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and connectivity incidents escalated by the service desk.
• Diagnose performance, routing, firewall, switching and wireless issues using monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Liaise with customers, third-party carriers and vendors to resolve faults and manage technical escalations.
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, diagrams and knowledge-base articles.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to 1st-line engineers.
