This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Artificial Intelligence. Based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom, this role offers the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely. The Head of Artificial Intelligence will lead the development and implementation of AI-driven initiatives, manage a team of AI/ML experts, and oversee the application of machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision technologies. Responsibilities include driving strategic AI projects, collaborating across departments, and ensuring that AI solutions align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable value.
- Expert knowledge in Computer Science and Data Science
- Proficiency in Pattern Recognition, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business applications
- Track record of successfully delivering AI-powered solutions
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in a leadership role within artificial intelligence or machine learning spaces is highly desirable
