Account Executive / New Business Seller – Cyber (DARPA funded, Series A, Hyper-Growth)
We’ve just closed our Series A and are now scaling ziggiz at pace – this is a chance to get in early and help build the next generation of cyber data infrastructure.
At ziggiz, we are the open security data control-plane that turns fragmented security logs into a unified, AI‐ready cyber lakehouse, so security teams can move from a cyber‐search world to a cyber‐analytics world. Our composable cyber platform ingests data from any source, automatically models and enriches it via an intelligent semantic layer, and delivers real‐time detections at petabyte scale – 5x faster onboarding, 25x processing efficiency, and up to 960x faster time‐to‐detect versus legacy SIEM ecosystems. We’re now hiring a high‐energy, hunter‐minded BDR to help us change how cyber services are consumed for good.
The role
You will:
- Own new business pipeline: prospect, book and run first‐meetings with security and data leaders (CISOs, Heads of SecOps, Directors of Cyber Engineering, etc.).
- Run high‐impact discovery and product demos of the ziggiz platform, with full enablement and training from our team.
- Translate messy security data pain (SIEM cost, fragmented pipelines, slow detections, AI readiness) into clear value stories around our cyber data plane.
- Collaborate closely with our founders, product and engineering teams to shape narratives, improve demos and feed back market insight.
- Report directly to the SVP – Customer Engagement with a clear line of sight to exec‐level decision‐making and strategy.
This is a hands‐on, quota‐carrying new business role – you’ll be prospecting, running your own meetings, and closing deals, not waiting for leads.
About you
You are likely:
- 5–10 years into your sales career, with a strong track record in new business / hunting, ideally in cyber, data or broader SaaS.
- Comfortable in technical conversations – you don’t need to be an engineer, but you enjoy talking about how data platforms, SIEM, lakehouses and AI fit together.
- Familiar with cloud and data ecosystems such as Databricks, AWS, Azure and modern security tooling (SIEM, EDR, SASE, XDR, etc.), or very keen to learn quickly.
- Adept at running structured discovery calls, mapping stakeholders and turning complex technical problems into compelling commercial outcomes.
- Self‐starting, resilient and energised by building something new rather than operating in a fully‐defined playbook.
A technical education or quantitative background (cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, coding or data) is a strong plus, as is any experience selling into security, data or platform teams.
