Theresalsoanincreasingfocusonmodernsecurityoperations,soexposuretoareassuchasSIEM,SOARandXDRwouldbeuseful. Beyondprojectdelivery,youllactasaseniortechnicalescalationpoint,carryoutcustomersecurityauditsandhealthchecks,makerecommendationsaroundimprovingexistingenvironmentsandprovideongoingtechnicalownershipfornominatedcustomers. Youllalsohelpdevelopotherengineerswithintheteamthroughtechnicalmentoring,knowledgesharingandinternaltraining. Werelookingforstrongnetworkingfundamentalsalongsidedetailedexperienceacrossenterprisefirewalls,LAN/WAN,VPN,SD-WANandmodernnetworksecurityarchitecture. ExperiencewithinanMSP,ISP,networkintegratororconsultancywouldtranslateparticularlywell,particularlyifyoureusedtoworkingacrossmultiplecustomersandcomplexenvironments. Youllneedtobecomfortablegatheringrequirements,producingtechnicaldesigns,presentingsolutionstocustomersandthenremaininginvolvedthroughimplementationandongoingsupport.
