Opportunity to join a global leader in Defence & Aerospace in a niche but growing team that specialises in Software and Assurance. This position is focused on ensuring that software supplied by third parties is developed correctly and in line with agreed standards through liaising with Developers and Designers … at all levels to resolve non-conformances, documenting and evidencing risk. The other aspect to this role is in a customer-facing context, providing assurance that relevant requirements have been met during the software lifecycle and identified non-conformances have been resolved. This is not a coding role … but very software-centric (incl. programmable electronics) so a thorough grasp of the software lifecycle and ability to understand output is key.
