About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader – Field Service to lead, guide, and support a team of field technicians in delivering exceptional technical service and customer satisfaction. This position offers the opportunity to combine strong technical acumen with leadership and mentoring to drive team performance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team of Field Technicians, ensuring all meet and exceed performance and quality standards.

Provide coaching, development, and technical support to enhance skills and service effectiveness.

Monitor performance, identify strengths and development areas, and optimise team resource allocation.

Deliver professional technical support and maintenance to assigned accounts within agreed SLAs.

Conduct field coaching, root cause analysis, and provide detailed reporting for service improvement.

Ensure effective fault diagnosis, maintenance, and system updates.

Support new installations and project work as required.

Maintain team stock levels at optimal and cost-effective standards.

Facilitate team meetings to share updates, goals, and best practices.

Collaborate closely with the Regional Service Manager and internal departments to deliver consistent service excellence.

Key Relationships

Direct Reports: Field Technical Support Specialists

Internal: Service Delivery, Service Desk, Problem Management, Service Planning

External: ICT Services customers

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Field Technical Support Specialist, ideally within the print or managed services sector.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for rapid and accurate fault resolution.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on first-class customer service.

Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a field-based technical team.
