£60,000 - £75,000 basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £95,000-£125,000) Hybrid: 4 days in Central London office / 1 day remote

The Role: Business Development Manager / Senior BDM

As a key member of the Business Development team, you’ll drive new business across the UK by selling premium subscriptions to our client’s market-leading Tax & Legal intelligence platform.

You’ll be targeting senior decision-makers — Heads of Tax, Tax Directors, CFOs and in-house Legal leaders — and will own the full 360° sales cycle from prospecting through to close. The role involves consultative, high-value selling, long-term relationship building, and the opportunity to directly influence revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, managing, and closing new business opportunities
  • Selling premium SaaS subscriptions and enterprise data licences
  • Managing the full sales cycle: lead gen demos negotiation close
  • Building long-term client relationships and spotting expansion opportunities
  • Attending industry events and client meetings (with occasional European travel)
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding monthly revenue targets

About You

You’re a confident, driven, and commercially sharp salesperson with a strong background in B2B subscription, SaaS, or business information sales.

You will ideally have:

  • 3+ years’ success in business development or subscription sales
  • Experience selling into Tax, FinTech, Legal, SaaS, or professional services sectors
  • A consistent track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience closing multi-user licence or enterprise-level deals
  • Ability to manage a full 360° sales process — including your own outbound prospecting
  • Familiarity with modern sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDIC/MEDDPIC)
  • High levels of organisation, resilience, and commercial awareness
  • Ambition and a passion for career advancement
