Programme Manager
Remote Based
A scaling SaaS client of ours are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join and manage the successful delivery of software deployments, overseeing the onboarding of new clients to a cloud-based SaaS platform, and coordinating upgrades or migrations for large, international customers. The position requires close collaboration with clients to ensure their requirements are understood, met, and exceeded. The role also involves managing internal programmes and initiatives, as well as supporting the development and performance of the Project Management team.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of software implementations for major global clients.
- Manage the onboarding process for new customers using the organisation’s SaaS solution.
- Oversee upgrades and enhancements for existing clients.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and support organisational change.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Operate within and continuously improve internal project governance frameworks.
- Provide clear, regular progress updates to senior stakeholders.
- Line manage, mentor, and develop members of the Project Management team.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager within the software industry.
- Expertise in both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience working in software development or technology-driven environments.
- Recognised programme or project management certification.
- Experience managing and developing team members.
- Advanced skills in project task planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Desirable
- Experience managing global clients across multiple time zones.
- Experience within a SaaS provider environment.
- Experience creating project proposals and Statements of Work.
- Experience designing and implementing bespoke project or programme management processes, controls, and documentation.
