ARC Commercial Recruitment is delighted  to be exclusively partnering with an industry-leading semiconductor manufacturer in East Anglia. Due to continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced and driven Import/Export Specialist to join their vibrant team.

Your Mission:

• Own the entire import/export process, managing all documentation and HMRC returns for high-spec semiconductor products
• Prepare, review, and track shipping and customs documents, ensuring accuracy at every step
• Act as the link between customs authorities, freight providers, and internal teams
• Guarantee full compliance with UK and international trade regulations, including export controls and sanctions
• Keep precise records for audits and regulatory reviews
• Troubleshoot customs issues, resolve delays, and ensure seamless shipment flows
• Provide logistics expertise to support procurement, production, and sales teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrable experience in import/export, logistics, or international shipping (technology/semiconductors a big plus)
• In-depth knowledge of customs procedures, international compliance, and export controls
• Exceptionally organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communicator and proactive team player
• Skilled with ERP and logistics systems (Expandable ERP experience is an advantage)
• Analytical mindset and confident in anticipating and solving complex problems
• Ideally, a legal background with contract law familiarity
• Motivated to keep pace with evolving global trade regulations
