SALARY: Attractive Salary + Company Car + Bonus + Benefits

LOCATION: Field-Based – You can be based in the South West or South East England OR Wales (Must be located within a commutable distance to either location)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 36.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Thursday 8:45am to 4:45pm and Friday 8:45am to 3:45pm

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Business Development Manager with experience in B2B sales, lead generation, and client relationship management.

As a Business Development Manager, you will generate new business opportunities, manage existing customer accounts, and promote innovative EPOS solutions to retail and forecourt clients.

Working as a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, building trusted partnerships, and demonstrating the value of cutting-edge retail technology in a dynamic and expanding organisation.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Business Development Manager include:

  • Develop New Business: Identify prospects through cold calling and lead generation
  • Account Management: Nurture and expand existing client relationships
  • Sales Demonstrations: Present live demonstrations of the company’s EPOS solutions
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to maximise territory coverage
  • Events & Exhibitions: Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
  • Partnership Growth: Expand business within existing supplier partnerships
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed agreed performance and sales targets

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • Proven experience of achieving business development and sales targets
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and close deals effectively
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Full valid UK or EU driving licence

DESIRABLE

  • Background in selling SaaS or retail technology solutions
  • Experience with EPOS or software sales
  • Degree or qualification in Business, IT, or a related field
