Contract: Full-time, permanent
The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Senior Business Development Representative to join a fast-growing enterprise software consultancy operating in the ERP space.
This is not an entry-level SDR role.
It is a strategic, high-impact position for someone who already understands enterprise ERP sales cycles and can independently generate high-quality, well-qualified opportunities.
You will work closely with senior sales leadership, helping to build pipeline within complex mid-market and enterprise organisations, with a clear emphasis on quality over volume.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute targeted outbound prospecting via calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Engage and qualify senior decision-makers (C-suite, Finance, IT, Operations)
- Identify genuine ERP buying triggers, including:
- Private equity investment
- M&A activity
- Group or subsidiary structures
- Legacy ERP challenges or upcoming renewal windows
- Qualify prospects based on:
- Company size and turnover
- Industry relevance
- Existing ERP footprint
- Commercial appetite and timing
- Book meaningful, well-qualified meetings for senior sales leadership
- Collaborate with sales and technical stakeholders on outreach strategy and messaging
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline data
This role requires commercial judgement and confidence — not scripted or volume-led outreach.
Required Experience
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in ERP sales (BDR, SDR, inside sales, or similar)
- Proven success generating opportunities with mid-market or enterprise organisations
- Comfortable engaging senior and executive-level stakeholders
- Experience operating in complex, high-value, long-cycle sales environments
Preferred Background
Experience within one or more of the following ERP ecosystems:
- IFS
- SAP
- Infor
Other ERP platforms will be considered only where experience includes selling into organisations with 200+ employees.
