Head of Total Rewards

We are seeking an experienced Head of Total Reward to lead and evolve our global reward strategy for a high-growth, international technology organisation. This is a senior, highly visible role with significant influence across the organisation, partnering closely with executive leadership, People Partners, Finance, and Legal teams globally.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and lead the global Total Reward strategy across compensation, benefits, pensions, incentives, equity, and recognition.
  • Ensure reward frameworks are aligned with business objectives, growth plans, and organisational culture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team and Board on reward-related matters.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Own global job architecture, levelling, and market benchmarking.
  • Design and manage annual compensation review cycles, bonus schemes, and long-term incentive plans (LTIPs/equity).
  • Ensure pay for performance principles and internal equity are consistently applied.

Benefits & Wellbeing

  • Lead the design and governance of competitive, locally relevant benefits and wellbeing programmes across multiple countries.
  • Balance global consistency with regional flexibility and compliance.

Governance, Compliance & Risk

  • Ensure reward practices comply with local legislation, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead pay transparency, pay equity, and gender/ethnicity pay gap analysis and reporting.
  • Develop strong reward governance, policies, and controls.

Analytics & Insights

  • Use data and analytics to inform reward decisions and provide insight on cost, competitiveness, and outcomes.
  • Build compelling reward narratives for stakeholders using clear, evidence-based insights.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global Total Reward team.
  • Partner effectively with Finance, Legal, and external advisors.

About You

  • Proven experience in a senior Total Reward or Reward Leadership role within a technology or fast-paced international environment.
  • Deep expertise across compensation, benefits, incentives, and equity plans.
  • Strong understanding of global reward governance and multi-country complexity.
  • Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident operating at executive and Board level.
  • Experience leading and developing specialist reward teams.
