Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (Dependant on Skillset)

As an IT recycler and supplier of IT Services the company have overseen more than 3 million devices through the IT lifecycle and, as a result, are perfectly placed to provide their customers with guidance and advice through this complex market.

They offer a huge range of additional services, such as IT spares and logistics throughout the UK, as well as datacentre and office relocations, configuration and build, bonded stock, engineers and project managers along with their hardware specialist IT brokerage service.

The Role

The company are seeking skilled engineers to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and repairing PCs, laptops, tablets & phones.  They are looking for an individual with a mature mindset, energy and drive who can bring their skills to further enhance repair within their company.

You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electronic and technical devices on behalf of their customers.  You will be tasked with identifying faults, conducting repairs, and performing quality checks on a range of devices; predominantly, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware faults across a range of electronic devices, including laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
  • Identify and troubleshoot component-level issues such as those involving motherboards, CPUs, RAM, GPUs, and PSUs.
  • Assess and record cosmetic and functional damage to devices.
  • Initiate and manage warranty claims where applicable.
  • Source and procure required components and replacement parts in line with company procedures.
  • Perform high-quality repairs on a variety of electronic equipment.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of equipment and software to verify the quality and functionality of completed repairs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and associated activities within designated systems.
  • Perform outgoing quality assurance checks to ensure all work meets internal standards and customer expectations.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with company policies, processes, and quality frameworks.
  • Adhere to stock management controls and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Support the development and upskilling of team members through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Achieve daily productivity, performance, and quality targets as defined by departmental objectives.
