Role Overview:

Location: Hybrid / Central London

Package: £80,000–£100,000 per annum Performance Bonus Benefits

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Partner with senior leaders to identify automation opportunities and shape new projects.
• Lead the design and delivery of AI-driven automation solutions across underwriting and claims.
• Act as subject matter expert for intelligent automation technologies including NLP, OCR/IDP, computer vision and LLMs.
• Manage and mentor offshore resources, ensuring quality and speed of delivery.
• Build proof-of-concepts that demonstrate real business value from AI.
• Support the development of an internal AI Centre of Excellence.
• Provide updates and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Main Skills Needed:

• Proven track record of leadership in analytics or automation projects.
• Strong experience in automation/AI within insurance or financial services.
• Knowledge of AI technologies and real-world application of LLMs to business problems.
• Hands-on experience with process improvement and automation design.
• Comfortable navigating complex, ambiguous challenges and delivering clear solutions.
• Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Python development background is desirable.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a similar quantitative field.
