Job Title: Finance Analyst / Should Cost Modeller Day Rate: £500 - £650 Outside IR35 Contract Length: 6 months Location: Remote (Occasional Travel to the Office)
Overview: Join our client in the Central Government sector as a Finance Analyst / Estimator / Should Cost Modeller! This is an exciting opportunity to support a transformative programme of work, leveraging your expertise in financial modelling and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Should Cost Models tailored to specific project criteria.
- Develop models in line with the Sourcing Playbook and Guidance Notes.
- Ensure models reflect best practises with robust methods, techniques, and data.
- Incorporate relevant time, cost, and carbon data for comprehensive analysis.
- Exploit information from diverse data sources to enhance decision-making.
- Address risk factors and uncertainties in all estimating models.
Ideal Candidate: You are a proactive professional with:
- Proven experience in Should Cost Modelling, particularly in Facilities Management services (Hard/Soft FM, maintenance, security).
- Strong knowledge of the Public Sector and Central Government operations.
- A knack for identifying, collating, and benchmarking data effectively.
