Role Overview:
Step into a dynamic role as an IT Systems Administrator, where your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure. This position offers a chance to work with leading technology, ensuring the smooth operation of both hardware and software systems. This is initially being recruited on a fixed term contract of six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and upgrade new technology systems, including software, servers, and cloud solutions.
- Conduct regular system checks, updates, and fixes to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain robust security measures, including patch management and data protection.
- Monitor system performance, manage updates, oversee data backups, and ensure seamless IT service operations.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to address tickets and provide coverage during peak periods.
- Design workflows for IT activities such as onboarding and incident handling.
- Document processes for consistency and reliability.
- Streamline tasks and introduce automation to enhance efficiency and minimise errors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft-based information systems, security, operating systems, networks, and cloud management.
- Experience with both on-premises and cloud environments (AD, Azure, Exchange, SharePoint) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
