Outbound Transport Configuration Analyst

A role in the National Supply Chain Outbound Configuration Team is a great opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future of Outbound Transportation and the deliveries we make to our Stores. You will form relationships with GB/IE colleagues across NSCM and also across the GB/IE Regions.

You will be instrumental in the long-term functionality of SAP TM for Outbound planning. Setting up the systems, making amendments to the systems based on Regional feedback, data driven analysis of current plans and overall supporting the planning team in reducing Outbound Transportation costs Nationally.

The role requires someone who is confident working with data and technical systems. The ability to spot trends and make recommendations that are data based is key and ideally someone who has experience in using the transport modules within SAP in order to maximise the system. A confident individual with great communication skills would also be ideally suited to this opportunity.

Your New Role

Subject matter expertise

  • SAP TM system knowledge and understanding
  • Ability to analyse data and see patterns to make changes
  • Ability to identify gaps in the new processes and define new ones as required

Business Readiness

  • Communication with wider NSCM and Regional teams
  • Ability to build on the system and help support change management

About You

  • Experience in SAP TM
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and cost focus
  • Previous experience in SAP TM
  • Knowledge of Regional set up in GB/IE
  • Problem solving skills for identifying supply chain solutions
  • Creating automated solutions
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to proactively work towards challenging deadlines through multitasking and resilience.

Desirable

  • Experience of managing change whilst Business As Usual (BAU) activity is ongoing.
