The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the Contracts & Compliance Manager will take full ownership of the contracts and compliance function. This is a senior, standalone role with high autonomy, real decision-making authority, and direct exposure to enterprise clients, audits, and M&A activity.

The position is split roughly 50/50 between contracts management and compliance & governance.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-growing, regulated environment and is looking to make a tangible impact on the business as it scales. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, auditors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and maintain all compliance frameworks, including ISO and ISAE audits, remediation plans, and business continuity processes.
  • Lead information security and GDPR/UK GDPR governance.
  • Own the full contract lifecycle: drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Procurement to support commercial growth while mitigating risk.
  • Support audits, risk management, and governance initiatives.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience in contracts, compliance, or governance, with ISO/ISAE audit exposure.
  • Strong experience negotiating B2B commercial contracts, preferably in SaaS.
  • Practical knowledge of GDPR and data protection in the UK and Europe.
  • Experience in regulated, high-growth environments; exposure to M&A is a plus.
  • Autonomous, pragmatic, and commercially minded, with strong stakeholder management skills.
