Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Payroll professional for ERP implementation across Xpedeon financial modules. The consultant will work directly with client finance teams, design chart-of-accounts structures, configure payroll, CIS and project costing, and support end-to-end system rollout.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Functional Implementation

  • Configure financial modules in Xpedeon including Accounts, Job-costing, Billing, AP/AR
  • Implement payroll workflows — weekly labour wages, overtime, CIS deductions
  • Assist in setting up project budgets, WIP reporting, retention, invoicing rules
  • Manage data migration: ledgers, payroll master, vendor master, project cost heads

Client Interaction & Training

  • Conduct requirement mapping sessions — financial policies, reporting, payroll cycles
  • Train users on financial modules, reporting, dashboards & compliance monitoring
  • Support UAT, validation, reconciliation and post-go-live audit cycles

Delivery & Support

  • Ensure smooth go-live with correct data, reporting & control structures set
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues and coordinate enhancements
  • Provide regular MIS support, finance workflow optimisation and adoption assistance

Requirements

  • 5+ years finance/accounting experience in construction/contracting
  • Hands-on payroll exposure including labour payroll (weekly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of CIS, HMRC compliance, cost allocation & project accounting
  • Ability to understand financial workflows and translate them into ERP configuration
  • Advanced Excel/reporting capability

Preferred

  • ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with ERP/financial system implementation
