IT Support Administrator

IT Support Administrator required by a market leading, professional services organisation in Bristol on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week onsite.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy IT Support Team in Bristol. This role provides vital administrative support to the wider IT department, focusing on financial and asset management, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.

The team is small but highly dedicated, delivering significant value to the business. This role combines IT equipment distribution, meticulous record-keeping, and excellent customer service with support for departmental financial management, stock and license management, and supplier liaison.

Your Role

As a IT Support Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team manager with oversight of IT asset records and equipment distribution, including Joiners, Leavers, and Transfers processes, auditing, and supervision.
  • Managing financial processes such as peer reviews, auditing, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, software renewals, and departmental budget planning.
  • Procuring goods and services within agreed budgets, liaising with suppliers and managing the supply chain.
  • Supporting projects, managing licenses, reviewing policies, and analysing dashboards to provide insights.

Your Skills and Experience

We are looking for talented individuals with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a busy administrative or support function
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • High levels of data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Strong MS Excel skills and good knowledge of other MS Office packages

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience with financial management or budgeting
  • Experience in customer service
