Infrastructure Support Specialist - Dynamics 365 & Power Platform

We are seeking a technically proficient Infrastructure Support Specialist to maintain and optimize our Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous operation of Power Automate flows, Power Apps applications, and integrated Dynamics 365 solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Power Platform Maintenance

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Power Automate flows to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Support and maintain canvas and model-driven Power Apps applications across the organization
  • Respond to and resolve incidents related to flow failures, application errors, and integration issues
  • Perform regular health checks on Power Platform environments and solutions

Dynamics 365 Support

  • Provide technical support for Dynamics 365 applications (Customer Service)
  • Manage and maintain Dynamics 365 customizations, plugins, and workflows
  • Support data integrations between Dynamics 365 and other business systems
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies

Infrastructure & Environment Management

  • Manage Power Platform environments including development, test, and production instances
  • Implement and maintain environment security, DLP policies, and access controls
  • Coordinate solution deployments and manage ALM processes
  • Maintain documentation of flows, applications, and infrastructure configurations

Issue Resolution & Optimization

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with flows, connectors, and API integrations
  • Identify opportunities to improve flow efficiency and reduce run failures
  • Work with business users to understand requirements and optimize existing solutions
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for critical business processes

Required Qualifications:

Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Hands-on experience supporting Dynamics 365 applications
  • Strong understanding of Power Automate flow design, connectors, and error handling
  • Experience with both canvas and model-driven Power Apps
  • Knowledge of Dataverse, Common Data Service, and entity relationships
  • Understanding of API integrations and REST/SOAP web services

Additional Skills

  • Experience with Azure services and Azure Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Power Platform admin center and governance tools
  • Good understanding of SQL and database concepts
  • Knowledge of ITIL or IT service management principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Soft Skills

  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with business users and technical teams
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on user satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications: PL-200, PL-400, or MB-200
  • Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, C#, or other programming languages
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools
  • Understanding of Power BI and reporting solutions
  • Experience with licensing and capacity management

Typical Tasks

  • Investigate and resolve flow run failures, identifying root causes and implementing fixes
  • Update connection references and credentials for shared resources
  • Optimize slow-running flows and apps for better performance
  • Coordinate with vendors and Microsoft Support for escalated issues
  • Create and maintain runbooks for common support scenarios
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support
  • Conduct regular audits of flows and apps to identify unused or inefficient solutions
