Contract Role – Banking Business Scrum Master – Manchester/Hybrid – 12 Months Initial – Inside IR35

Role Overview:

  • Job Title: Banking Business Scrum Master
  • Location: Manchester/ Hybrid (4 days onsite per week, can choose days)
  • Contract Type: Contract
  • Duration: 12 months initially
  • Rate: £600 per day umbrella, Inside IR35
  • Sector: Banking

  • Scrum Lead role working with business teams.
  • Strong experience managing and engaging business stakeholders.
  • Prior project management experience, particularly in stakeholder handling.
  • Responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and collaborating with other teams.
  • Core skills include project management, stakeholder management, and risk management.
  • Experience in finance or banking is preferred; the role focuses on the clearance area.
  • Relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Business teams define the requirements; the Scrum Lead supports and coordinates these requirements.
  • This is not primarily a delivery role, though involvement in technical delivery may be required.
  • Ideally, candidates will have a financial services background, understand SL frameworks, possess strong PM experience, and demonstrate a proactive, diligent, and risk-aware approach.

Expertise

  • Deep knowledge and experience with agile ways of working
  • Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Professional Scrum Master
