MFA Onboarding Analyst
Cheshire - 2 days per week on-site (mandatory)
£480-£500 per day, inside IR35
12-month contract

Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Cheshire to be considered.
The client will not consider candidates who are not local, including those proposing relocation or long-distance weekly travel. This is a strict requirement.
Atrium EMEA are supporting a world-leading IT services organisation in their search for MFA Onboarding Analysts, working on a major security programme for a top UK financial services organisation.
This role is suited to someone who has worked on enterprise-wide MFA or IAM programmes and understands how to drive onboarding, governance, and adoption at scale. It is not a hands-on engineering role. You'll sit between security teams, IAM engineers, and application owners to ensure MFA is implemented correctly, consistently, and compliantly.
What you'll be doing
* Owning and driving the onboarding of applications onto MFA across a large enterprise environment
* Working closely with application teams, IAM engineers, and security stakeholders
* Advising on MFA policies, conditional access, and control requirements
* Tracking adoption, compliance, and risk, escalating issues where needed
* Producing audit evidence, controls reporting, and governance documentation
* Supporting enterprise communications and training for MFA rollouts
* Providing clear status updates and reporting to senior stakeholders

* Governance, controls, and stakeholder-heavy delivery
* Strong alignment to IAM and Access Management programmes
This is not:
* A hands-on IAM engineering role
* An IAM or Security Architect position
* A junior or entry-level analyst role
What you'll need
* Proven experience working on enterprise MFA or IAM initiatives
* Solid understanding of SSO, Entra ID, and federation concepts (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
* Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments
* Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong communication skills, including explaining security risk in business terms
