AV Project Manager – Service Delivery

Location: Hybrid Bolton/But can be located anywhere in the UK

Salary: 30-40k DOE

Travel Required: Yes (including overnight stays)

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Project Manager to join our Service Delivery team.

This role goes beyond traditional project management you will be required to lead projects

end-to-end, coordinate resources, and act as a site supervisor when needed, depending on project

complexity.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of project management principles, experience

within technical or AV environments, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, hands-on settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the service delivery project lifecycle from planning and execution to on-site

installation and final sign-off with the client.

• Allocate tasks and responsibilities based on team members’ skills, experience, and availability

across internal and external resources.

• Identify potential risks (technical, financial, operational), assess their impact, and develop

effective mitigation and contingency plans.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth

and efficient delivery.

• Manage the AVM programme/process to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within

budget.

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects ranging from small installations to complex, high-value

deliveries.

• Supervise on-site installation engineers throughout the delivery phase to ensure quality and client

satisfaction.

• Serve as the single point of contact, providing regular updates to both internal teams and clients.

• Support and mentor junior project managers, contributing to their ongoing development.

• Complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and ensure timely distribution to

relevant parties.

• Represent AVM professionally on all sites, maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.

• Experience with project management tools such as Monday is advantageous.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven background in project management – essential.

• Some exposure to AV or technical environments – highly beneficial. • Experience working on live

construction sites – advantageous.

• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions to keep projects on track.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and open to feedback and continuous improvement.

• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
