Avanti Recruitment is partnering with an early-stage, Y Combinator-backed legal technology company. They are building an AI-native platform used by top litigation teams at leading law firms in the UK and US.
They are now hiring a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join a small, elite engineering team and help build a category-defining product from the ground up.
The Role
- Ship production code from day one
- Own features end-to-end, from customer conversations through to deployment
- Build across the full stack:
- Python backend
- React / Next.js with TypeScript frontend
- Cloud infrastructure on Azure
- Work closely with demanding professional users and solve real, high-impact problems
- Play a key role in shaping engineering standards, architecture and culture
What They’re Looking For
- Strong software engineer with 5+ years’ experience
- 1st class degree from a top University
- Computer science or strong STEM background
- Excellent communication skills and professional presence
- High agency, self-directed and comfortable with ownership
- Passion for building high-quality products and shipping regularly
- Startup mindset without the chaos
