IT Manager – Growing SaaS Company - Brighton (Hybrid)

A Brighton-based SaaS company helping organisations worldwide simplify and strengthen their information security and compliance is now seeking a hands-on IT Manager to modernise and manage their internal IT estate.

You’ll be joining a business that’s scaling quickly and sees IT as a strategic enabler, not an afterthought. This is a fantastic opportunity for a process-driven, security-minded professional who wants to lead, automate, and make a real difference.

The Role

As IT Manager, you’ll own and evolve the company’s internal Microsoft 365 environment, manage endpoint security, and support a growing team of 60+ colleagues. You’ll bring structure, automation, and professional rigour to IT operations while enabling the wider business through technology.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise Microsoft 365 (Entra ID / Azure AD, Intune, Defender, Conditional Access)
• Lead end-user device management across Windows, macOS, and occasional Linux
• Maintain internal IT security, backups, and identity governance
• Oversee corporate cloud tools, VPN, and security configurations
• Maintain three WordPress-based corporate websites
• Drive automation and process improvement across IT operations
• Shape and implement policies for the responsible use of AI tools and automation

About You

You’re structured, organised, and thrive in an environment where attention to detail and documentation matter. You combine strong technical foundations with a collaborative, enabling mindset.

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience managing Microsoft 365 (Entra ID / Azure AD, Intune, Defender, Conditional Access)
• Broad device management experience across Windows and macOS
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first approach
• A process-focused approach – documenting, automating, and continuously improving
• Ideally, exposure to AI tool governance, automation, or ISO 27001 environments
