Account Manager - Desk Based

Immediate STart!!!!I’m working exclusively on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing MSP in the Reigate area to recruit a Desk-Based Account Manager.This is an exciting opportunity for someone currently working in Sales Administration, Internal Sales, or Account Support who is ready to step into a more commercially focused, relationship-led role. A strong understanding of sales within an MSP environment is highly desirable, particularly around service-led selling, recurring revenue models, and technology solutions.The Role You’ll join a supportive and established sales team, managing a portfolio of small business clients. Your focus will be on developing trusted relationships, ensuring outstanding service delivery, and uncovering opportunities to expand the adoption of MSP services.Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Managing and developing a portfolio of small but high-value clients.
  • Building strong, long-term relationships and being the primary point of contact.
  • Identifying opportunities within your accounts to drive engagement and recurring revenue—whether through upsell, cross-sell, or aligning customers to new service offerings.
  • Producing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline records.
  • Working closely with technical, operations, and project teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Handling customer queries with professionalism, commercial awareness, and an understanding of service-level expectations.
What We’re Looking For I’m keen to speak with candidates who have:
  • Experience in Sales Administration, Customer Service, Account Coordination, or Internal Sales.
  • A strong foundation in MSP sales processes or IT services (highly desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with a genuine interest in helping clients get the most from their managed services.
  • Confidence working with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and (ideally) quoting tools or ticketing systems.
