What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Head of Marine Operations, as a Junior IT Support Technician, you will provide technical support to a global client base who use Mimic Condition Monitoring Software onboard seagoing vessels.

What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Head of Marine Operations, as a Junior IT Support Technician, you will provide technical support to a global client base who use Mimic Condition Monitoring Software onboard seagoing vessels.
You Will
- Assist with Software Testing of Mimic product lines
- Provide level 1 Software/Hardware support.
- Conduct onsite installation of standalone Mimic software products.
- Manage data collection, calibrations and minor repairs
- Create technical guides for issue to ships staff
- Create standalone virtual machines for software testing and support.
- Administer the Vivantio service desk.
- Assist in the procurement of Mimic hardware products
- Assist CM consultants on site with basic engineering tasks including attaching Mimic measurement points, collection of vibration data (this may also require some global travel).
- A starting salary of £28,000

- Eligibility to gain MOD Security Clearance (essential)
- Experience in proficient use of multiple software systems including both internally and externally developed software packages
- Knowledge of SQL Server database engines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of network topology
- Basic electronics knowledge
- Troubleshooting capabilities
- Full, clean UK driving licence
