Business Development Coordinator
The Business Development Coordinator is a critical hire for our fast-growing AI company, pioneering solutions in Health, Automotive, Robotics, and Social Interaction. Supporting our Commercial team, this role serves as the central technical and operational communications specialist. You will be responsible for the full administration and customisation of our CRM system (HubSpot) to mature our sales process, ensure data integrity, and provide executive-level reporting to accelerate business growth.
What You’ll Be DoingThis role requires a proactive approach, a highly organised nature, and a drive for commercial excellence. Core responsibilities focus on sales system management, clear communication, reporting, and operational coordination.
CRM Mastery and Data Integrity- CRM Administration & System Architecture: Own the administration and technical configuration of our CRM platform (HubSpot). This includes generating templates, managing custom objects, creating sophisticated workflow automation, validation rules, and user security/access profiles. Technical ownership and documentation experience through similar platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, etc.) will be beneficial for this role.
- Sales Process Engineering: Proactively identify bottlenecks and design, implement, and document streamlined, repeatable sales processes within the CRM to maximise efficiency from lead-to-close.
- Data Hygiene: Ensure the CRM is the definitive "source of truth" by managing data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all sales records.
- Business Intelligence & Forecasting: Develop, manage, and deliver executive-level dashboards and reports on pipeline health, sales performance, and forecasting accuracy for the leadership team.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key sales metrics, including pipeline health and forecasting accuracy, translating raw data into clear, actionable insights for the leadership team.
- Cross-Functional Sales Enablement: Serve as the key liaison to coordinate and expedite sales support across internal departments, translating field needs into technical requirements for swift deal closure.
- Cross-Functional Support: Serve as the key liaison between the field team and internal areas such as Product, Marketing, Engineering, etc. to prioritise and expedite sales support, ensuring the field team has the resources they need to close deals.

- Organisational Prowess: Strong change management skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing simultaneous, high-priority sales enablement engagements in a fast-scaling startup environment.

- Analytical Skills: Able to interpret data, identify trends, and clearly communicate findings to both sales reps and executive stakeholders.
- CRM Expertise is Crucial: Deep CRM Administration Expertise (Mandatory): 3+ years of hands-on experience in a dedicated CRM Administrator or Sales Operations role. Must possess demonstrable expertise in technical configuration, custom object creation, advanced reporting, and workflow automation in a platform like Salesforce (Administrator Certification highly preferred) or HubSpot Operations Hub Professional/Enterprise. Strong demonstration of transferable skills from other comparable roles will be considered.
- Proven Experience: At least 2+ years in a Sales Operations, Enablement, or similar operational coordination role, ideally within a technology or AI/SaaS setting.
- Sector Exposure (Recruitment Note): Exposure to, knowledge and understanding of the software sales process, risk mitigation, and implementation requirements (e.g., data transfer, security, processes) is a plus.
