Financial Controller £70,000 – £85,000 + Benefits | Tech-Focused Business | Hinckley | Hybrid (4 days in office) A rare opportunity to lead finance in a growing, high-potential tech business with international backing. We’re recruiting for a commercially sharp Financial Controller to take full ownership of the finance function at a fast-paced tech business based in Hinckley. The company operates as a standalone UK entity within a larger international group, combining the agility of a scale-up with the resources and structure of a global organisation.This role offers the chance to make a real impact — shaping systems, driving reporting, and working directly with the UK Managing Director to support strategic decision-making and growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Full ownership of the UK P&L and month-end process
  • Reporting to group finance teams overseas
  • Supporting integration and improvement of finance systems
  • Implementing and managing stock controls
  • Partnering with leadership on planning and performance tracking
  • Helping shape a scalable finance function as the business grows
What We’re Looking For
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Experience in both SME and larger group environments
  • Strong stock accounting and system implementation experience
  • Confident communicator — able to operate at pace and with autonomy
  • Ideally from a manufacturing, tech, or engineering background
  • Must be UK-based and able to work on-site in Hinckley 4 days/week
  • International experience is a strong plus
