Junior Business Analyst

• Support business analysis activities across a range of projects, working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and IT teams.

• Help gather, document, and analyse business requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and meet organisational objectives.

• Assist in mapping current (“as is”) and future (“to be”) business processes, using recognised business analysis techniques.

• Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

• Work with data sources to produce simple analyses, dashboards, or summaries that help drive better decision-making.

• Participate in solution testing and user acceptance activities, providing feedback to ensure business needs are met.

• Maintain accurate records and support the continuous improvement of business analysis practices across the team.

• Keen interest in business analysis, IT or data—whether gained via education, self-learning, or practical experience.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.

• Analytical mindset, comfortable with solving problems and making sense of data.

• Confident communicator, able to work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders.

• Detail-orientated with excellent written documentation and reporting skills.

• Motivated to learn new concepts, tools, and ways of working, with a proactive approach to personal development.

• Degree, diploma or recognised certification in Business, IT, Data, or a related discipline (or currently working towards this).

• Previous exposure to business analysis, project work, data analysis, or process improvement is helpful but not essential.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel or Power BI, or similar analysis/reporting tools is an advantage.
