Data Engineer

Leading Ipswich based business are looking for an aspiring Data Engineer to join their growing data function and play a key role in building reliable, high-quality data pipelines that support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong SQL skills and experience in data warehousing or ETL/ELT development who wants to deepen their data engineering expertise in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain data pipelines, including API connections, ETL/ELT processes, and workflow automation (e.g. Workato).
• Work with data warehouses, optimising queries and ensuring data quality.
• Design and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with BI developers, data analysts, and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Support data governance, security, and privacy standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or ETL/ELT development.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Understanding of data modelling and ETL/ELT processes.
