JOB TITLE: Product Technical Lead

SALARY: £65,000 - £83,000

WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Hybrid

C4S Search are pleased to be working with a technology and consulting company that helps organisations strengthen their cybersecurity, data, AI, and digital capabilities.

THE PRODUCT TECHNICAL LEAD OPPORTUNITY:

• Lead the architecture, technical design, and hands-on development of a complex, user-facing software product.
• Build and deliver high-quality Python backend features, driving them from concept to production.
• Work with product and design teams to translate product goals into technical plans and ensure great user experience.
• Guide and mentor developers, running Agile ceremonies and upholding engineering best practices.
• Continuously improve systems, processes, and infrastructure to enhance scalability, performance, and delivery speed.

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• Strong software engineering background with advanced Python skills (FastAPI or similar) and solid SQL/database expertise.
• Experience delivering end-to-end software products and designing scalable, cloud-based systems with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven leadership or mentoring experience within Agile teams.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders, with excellent communication skills and a product-focused mindset.
• Desirable experience includes frontend technologies (TypeScript/React) plus exposure to cybersecurity, data-driven products, or SaaS platforms.
