Commercial & Licensing Lead – IT

London - Hybrid (3 days in the office)

Salary - up to £65,000 depending on experience + bonus

We're representing a leading global organisation that's looking for an experienced Commercial & Licensing Lead to join their IT function in London. This is a pivotal role overseeing the commercial management, licensing compliance, and financial performance of a large-scale IT operation.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the IT budget, from planning and forecasting through to reporting and cost control, while managing vendor relationships and ensuring all licensing agreements are compliant, efficient, and value driven. You'll act as the key point of contact for procurement, finance, and IT teams, shaping commercial strategy and identifying opportunities to optimise spend across multiple regions.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in IT commercial management, licensing, or procurement.
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record in budget ownership.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP and asset management systems.
  • ITIL or SAM-related certifications are an advantage.
