Management Accountant

A fast-paced technology group is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join its growing finance team based in Portsmouth. This role is ideal for a commercially minded, proactive finance professional looking to develop within the dynamic and fast-evolving tech sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to both internal performance reporting and group-level financial insights, while gaining exposure to a variety of reporting systems and continuous improvement initiatives in a modern, data-driven environment.

What will the Management Accountant role involve?

• Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and group reporting packs
• Support month-end processes and ensure reporting aligns with group accounting policies
• Collaborate with wider finance functions to support budgeting, forecasting, and audits
• Contribute to streamlining and enhancing finance systems and reporting processes

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• Strong Excel and reporting system skills (e.g., Power BI, NetSuite, Oracle)
• Proven experience working within a group or subsidiary structure
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills
• A proactive team player with a passion for process improvement and financial insight
