Salary £60K - £70K per annum, plus commission - hybrid working 1 x week in West Midlands HQ

A market-leading SaaS provider in the digital communications space is expanding its footprint within central government and regulatory bodies. As part of a newly restructured sales pod, the business is hiring a senior Account Executive to own and grow this vertical. This move comes in response to record-breaking demand from public sector organisations for streamlined, citizen-first digital engagement platforms.

In this role, you’ll take full ownership of a defined government portfolio—covering departments, agencies, and regulators—and be responsible for both new business and expansion opportunities. Working in close partnership with a dedicated SDR and Customer Success Manager, you’ll drive consultative sales that help civil service teams modernise citizen communications. You’ll lead the full sales cycle, from initial qualification through to stakeholder alignment, value articulation, and deal close. The outcome? More efficient, more responsive, and more digitally empowered public services.

You’ll be a strategic seller who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments—someone who’s sold SaaS or tech-enabled services into central government or regulators for at least 5 years. You’ll bring credibility, emotional intelligence, and a consultative mindset to every conversation, and be comfortable operating in public sector frameworks and procurement processes.

Experience winning new logos and expanding existing public sector accounts is essential. Above all, you’ll know how to build trust, unlock problems, and deliver long-term value.
