Business Development Manager

Salary £50K - £65K per annum plus commission Hybrid – 2+ days/week in London

Are you a SaaS sales professional who thrives on breaking into complex enterprise accounts and navigating long-cycle deals in compliance or finance tech?

We’ve been exclusively retained by a scaling FinTech organisation that provides cutting-edge tax automation solutions to multinational businesses.

With approximately 80 employees and over £10M in annual recurring revenue, they’re investing in UK growth and building out their new business function. This vacancy has been created as a direct result of strong market demand, international expansion plans, and a potential acquisition on the horizon.

In this hybrid BDM role, you’ll manage the full 360° sales cycle, supported by SDR resource and a highly credible product suite. You’ll engage enterprise-level customers across pharmaceuticals, real estate, and manufacturing—selling into CFOs, Tax Directors, and Heads of VAT.

The goal is to generate new UK business, positioning the company's market-leading reclaim and compliance tools, including a brand-new automated invoice solution. With average order values around £50K and a full-year target of £500K ARR, your impact will be visible and measurable from day one.

We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ experience in a new business, closing role—ideally within SaaS, FinTech, or compliance-led services. You’ll need to be articulate, commercially sharp, and confident managing multi-stakeholder deals across complex buying journeys.

Experience selling to finance stakeholders is key, and a background in tax, financial services, or accounting tech would be a bonus. If you bring additional European languages to the table, there’s potential to expand beyond the UK remit too.

The culture is high-performance but supportive—this is a business where every deal matters and every person counts. You'll be based out of their London office 2+ days per week, collaborating with an experienced Sales Director and a growing international team.

Career development is real here, with future leadership or strategic account routes open as the company scales. The package includes a base salary of £50–£65K with uncapped commission and double OTE potential.
