Financial Accountant
Cedar is supporting a rapidly growing, private-equity-backed technology organisation in its search for a Financial Accountant. The business has recently completed a successful Series E funding round and is continuing to scale at pace across Europe.
The team is seeking a highly capable ACA / CA qualified accountant from an audit background, with 1-3 years' post-qualification experience in industry. This role is suited to a driven, career-minded individual looking to fast-track their progression within a high-growth environment.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation and review of periodic financial statements and internal reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met
- Record and maintain accounting entries, including journals, accruals, deferrals, and reconciliations
- Support day-to-day transactional processes, including billing, collections, and supplier payments
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external reviews
- Maintain accurate records within financial systems and ensure data integrity
- Support adherence to internal controls, policies, and applicable accounting standards
About you
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) with early post-qualification experience
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (local GAAP and/or IFRS)
- Comfortable working with accounting and financial reporting systems
- Clear and professional communicator, able to engage with a range of stakeholders
- Able to handle confidential financial information with discretion and integrity
