Sales Manager - Card Acquiring/Issuing
As our Head of Sales, you'll lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth in a high-potential fintech market. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company revenue targets, focusing on IBAN, Card Acquiring, and Card Issuing products.
- Lead, coach, and support a team of sales professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and results-oriented performance.
- Support team development through regular training sessions, team-building activities, and performance coaching to build skills, morale, and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clients in e-commerce, SaaS, travel, and fintech sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key executives, payment networks, and strategic partners to strengthen market presence.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to refine go-to-market strategies and drive client success.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to improve sales processes and product offerings.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and pipeline management to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Report on sales metrics, forecasts, and KPIs to leadership, delivering insights to support business growth.
What You'll Bring
- 10-15 years of sales experience in fintech, payments, or financial services, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role (Sales Manager or equivalent).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in B2B sales, ideally with exposure to EMI services, IBAN accounts, Card Acquiring, or Card Issuing.
- Strong understanding of UK/EU payment regulations (e.g., PSD2, FCA guidelines) and the broader fintech ecosystem.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
- Experience building and scaling sales teams in a startup or growth-stage environment.
- Data-driven mindset, proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications a plus.
