Retail Systems Deployment Lead - Hybrid

Our client, a technology deployment specialist supporting major retail and hospitality brands across the UK, is looking for a Retail Systems Deployment Lead to coordinate multi-site rollouts. Based in Altrincham with hybrid working available, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead fast-paced deployment programmes across EPOS, kiosk, and IT hardware systems.

This is the perfect role for someone who thrives in structured, deadline-driven environments and is confident managing field activity, project timelines, and cross-functional teams. If you've worked in retail or QSR technology deployment and have experience leading small teams or large rollouts, this could be the ideal next step.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of multi-site hardware deployments across the retail and hospitality sectors
  • Manage installation schedules and act as the key point of contact for internal and client teams
  • Oversee a team of coordinators and engineers, providing leadership and direction
  • Ensure project timelines, budgets and quality expectations are consistently met
  • Coordinate stock availability, installation resources and 3rd party vendors
  • Review deployment quality and site sign-offs, escalating and resolving issues as needed
  • Lead communication with client stakeholders, providing updates and progress reports
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across deployment processes and tools
  • Ensure deployment data is accurately tracked and reported across internal systems
  • Work alongside the operations and finance teams to support project billing and compliance

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in large-scale EPOS, kiosk or retail IT deployment projects
  • Experience leading or supervising teams in a project delivery setting
  • Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management skills
  • High level of organisation with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Calm under pressure, with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
  • Competent in Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, IF statements) and familiar with scheduling or reporting tools
  • Able to spot inefficiencies and propose process improvements confidently

Desirable:

  • Hands-on understanding of EPOS, kiosk or retail hardware technologies
  • Experience working with national retail, QSR or hospitality brands
  • Familiarity with purchase order processes, invoicing or client billing support
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently in live project environments
