Are you an experienced 3rd Line Engineer with a solid MSP background?

Do you enjoy tackling a mix of infrastructure and networking challenges?

Looking for a role that keeps you hands-on, technical, and client-facing?

This role could be a great fit.

Join a growing and well-regarded Managed Service Provider as part of their senior engineering team. You will take ownership of escalated issues, support and guide more junior engineers, and lead on technical projects for a range of SME clients.

What you will be doing:

• Providing 3rd line support and infrastructure troubleshooting
• Leading smaller client projects and rearchitecting customer networks
• Acting as an escalation point for complex issues
• Installing, configuring, and supporting client environments across servers, networks, and cloud platforms
• Mentoring junior engineers and ensuring quality technical delivery
• Attending client sites when required (local travel)

Core technical skills we are looking for:

• Windows Server(setup, troubleshooting, maintenance)
• Microsoft 365administration and support
• Active Directory&Group Policy
• Network support routers, switches, firewalls (WatchGuard experience a bonus)
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Strong experience withremote and on-site troubleshooting
• Comfortable working across abroad IT estate(hardware, software, cloud, networking)
• Experience deliveringinfrastructure projectsand identifying opportunities for improvement

You will need:

• Experience in a 2nd/3rd line role within an MSP environment
• Strong communication skills and client-facing confidence
• A methodical and calm approach under pressure
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
